Don Farrell – HOAGY CARMICHAEL

Don Sweeney headshotDon made his Off-Broadway debut as Jimmy O’Flaherty at the Sylvia & Danny Kaye Playhouse in Irene starring Penny Worth, Alex Korey, Lee Roy Reams, George S. Irving and Ruth Warrick. His subsequent returns to the stage have been as varying as they were lauded, from the guilt ridden John Proctor in The Crucible to the his devilishly comical portrayal of Mr. Applegate in Damn Yankees to the grumpy yet loveable Toad in A Year with Frog and Toad. Other shows for ATI include My Way, a musical tribute to Frank Sinatra, Forever Plaid, Cole, Perfect Wedding, Forbidden Broadway, A Grand Night for Singing, The Andrews Brothers, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Route 66, The Musical of Musicals, The Odd Couple, and I Love A Piano. He co-created and starred in Completely Christmas, Memories, Mistletoe and Manger Included, which enjoyed a sold out run this past December at The Warehouse in Carmel. Don is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (BFA, Musical Theatre) and is a co-founder and the Artistic Director of Actors Theatre of Indiana.
